Killers Must Go Free

Killers must go free from court,
as judges need to buy their own islands.
There, they can't hear the screams
of victims' mothers.

On their private boats,
they can hug their own kids
and enjoy the sunshine.
They can celebrate their victories,
made by a mixture of lies and power.

"All done," they will say,
and that foreigner mum
must be lucky to be part of a kingdom
where she is allowed
to visit and cry for her beloved one,
left alone in that dark hole.

But she must remember to keep quiet
when she faces her child's killer,
who is boasting about the shooting.
By law, she can't approach
